Orb knows that you are trusting us with private and personal information. We fully acknowledge the responsibility that comes with safeguarding this sensitive data. We are committed to keeping that trust by upholding our high standards of privacy, integrity, and security, as well as being transparent about how we process data.

The primary purpose of our Privacy Policy is to provide a clear understanding of what data we collect, how it is used, and how you can control it.

By accepting this privacy policy by using our App, you explicitly agree to the collection and processing of your data. If you disagree with anything within our Privacy Policy or Terms of Use, we recommend you stop using our services and uninstall the App.

Your data serves you

When you use Ob, we may collect your Personal Data and use it for the purpose of delivering and enhancing your user experience. We use your data to personalize your experiences with Orb. This allows us to show you personalized insights and graphs and ensure you have a valuable daily log etc. We do not sell your data. 

You are in control

You are able to erase, and update your personal data by writing to us at connect@orbconnection.com. 

1. Personal data you provide to us

When you sign up to use the App, we may collect Personal Data about you such as:

i. Full name

ii. Email address

iii. Password

 When you use the App, you may choose to provide personal information about yourself such as:

i. Emotional rating

ii. Physical rating

iii. Emotional States

iv. Physical feelings and symptoms

v. Other notes and information about your feelings and experiences. (“Personal data”).

Personal data for account creation

We need to collect some of your personal data, such as your name and email address, in order to create your Orb account.

Health and sensitive data

We store sensitive data, such as your emotional and physical scale ratings, dates and times of your check in’s, and emotional and physical feelings or events you track in the App (e.g. work, alcohol, sleep, fun.) The data you track in Orb about your emotional and physical health and experiences is considered sensitive personal data. Orb will not store sensitive personal data without your permission. Only when you give us consent by creating an Orb account will we begin storing your health and sensitive data along with the personal data necessary to create an account. on our secured servers. The amount of data we collect is intentionally minimized wherever possible to respect your privacy.

2. How we use your personal data

Orb uses your personal data for the purpose of providing our services to you.

To analyze, operate, maintain and improve Orb, to add new features and services to the Orb.

To customize the personalized content and insights you see when you use the Orb.

To provide and deliver the services you request, process transactions and send you related information, including confirmations and reminders.

To certify your identity.

To send you technical support, notices, updates, and security alerts.

For billing, account management and administrative purposes.

To respond to your comments, questions and provide customer service.

To monitor and analyze patterns, trends, usage and activities in connection with our App.

3. Your Consent

By creating a profile in Orb, you explicitly consent that:

Orb may store and process your personal data you provide through the usage of the App and through the account creation process. Your data will be used exclusively for the purpose of providing Orbs services to you and to improve our service features and user experience.

Personal data you provide to us through your Orb account creation process includes personal data you enter into the App, such as your account data (e.g. your name and email address), and your health data (e.g. emotions, physical symptoms, activities or others). Depending on the data you provide, it may also contain personal information about your general health and wellbeing.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your Orb account and uninstall the App.

4. Security 

We take appropriate measures to protect your Personal Data from loss, theft, misuse or unauthorized access, taking into account the nature of the Personal Data that we process and risks associated with special categories of Personal Data we collect (information about health).

Though we cannot ensure or guarantee that misuse, loss or alteration of information will never occur, we use all reasonable efforts to prevent it.

5. Children’s privacy

Orb does not knowingly collect or use personal data from children under the age of 13 (16 for EU residents). All users should be at least 13 (16 for EU residents) years old to use Orb, we don’t allow people to use the App if they are younger than 13 (16 for EU residents). By creating an account with Orb you are required to confirm that your are at least 13 (16 for EU residents) years old..

General age limitation. We protect the privacy of children. Orb is not intended for children and we do not intentionally collect information about children under 13 (16 for EU residents) years old. If you are aware of anyone under 13 (16 for EU residents) using the App, contact us at connect@orbconnetion.com and we will take required steps to delete such information and delete the account.

6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Orb reserves the right and may change this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our data collection and data use practices, the features of Orb’s services, or advances in technology. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the email address specified when you register), through the App, or by presenting you with a new version of this Privacy Policy for you to accept, if we, for example, add new processing activities or collect some additional Personal Data from you.
